Happy New Year! Motivated @ 2017

Hello, dear bloggers and readers!

It has been a while since I last updated my blog because there had been many changes in my life last year. No, I did not get pregnant or what. I will be sharing some of the highlights of my 2016 here. I’m just busy doing business *wink*. Now I just thought, when else could be a good time to return to blogging? Today! Yes, just a few days after January 1st.

Let me start my post like this, because I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling motivated and much more empowered than I ever had last year. And yes, I’m feeling twenty-two. (Haha! Taylor Swift lang?) How many of you believe that our present days are so much better than our past ones, and that our future days will be even greater than what we have now? I do. That is because of what the Lord said.

Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:19 NKJV

New great things await for us this year! Many of us have gone through trials and testing of faith in 2016, and that is what the  wilderness represents in the verse. Now look at what God said, He will even make a road in the wilderness.

What is a road exactly? According to dictionaries, it has meanings like, a hard flat surface; an open way for vehicles. But the other meaning of road is a route or a way to an end, conclusion, or  circumstance . This means that God is putting an end to your hardships and doing the impossible things in your life, like when He makes rivers in a desert. He has it planned already so pull yourself together, friend, and embrace the change. Nothing is too impossible with God if you believe.

So whatever bad you have been through, leave it behind. Get up, dress up, and never give up! Continue to run the race to success. To your dreams! Work hard and pray harder. The Lord is with you always. 😀

How about you? What serves as your motivation this year to kick you out of your old self and go get that goal? I would love to learn from you, too!

Lettering workshop

If you like to collect different kinds of pens and paper stuffs, if you like artistic handwriting, if you like old and modern calligraphy, if you doodle quotes at the back of your notebook (or in any piece of paper), if you always have a hard time styling that one letter ( in my case, letter S), if your penmanship is so poor but you write letterings like a boss, or you simply just want to write beautifully, I really advise you attend a Lettering Workshop.
